Voisee Legal
Effective Date: April 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Voisee collects, how it is used, and how it is protected when families, administrators, and kiosk devices use the Voisee service.
Voisee is a video calling service designed to help families stay connected with people who cannot independently answer or operate a device. References to "Voisee," "we," "us," or "our" refer to the Voisee service and its operator.
Voisee combines a web application for callers and administrators with kiosk-style devices configured to receive calls automatically in authorized rooms.
This Privacy Policy applies to people who use Voisee, including administrators who configure devices and rooms, family members or other authorized callers who join rooms, and end users who appear in calls through Voisee-enabled devices.
We collect information necessary to operate the service, secure access, and connect calls between authorized participants.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use call content, room data, or user information to train machine learning models for unrelated commercial purposes.
Voisee is built to facilitate live video communication. The video and audio streams themselves are processed by our video infrastructure provider to deliver the call. As of the effective date of this policy, Voisee does not intentionally record calls as part of its standard product behavior.
Because live video calls may contain sensitive personal information, you should use Voisee only with participants who are authorized to join the room and only for use cases appropriate to the room and family context.
Voisee uses hosted infrastructure providers including Vercel for application hosting, Supabase for database and authentication services, Daily for video calling infrastructure, and Fully-managed kiosk tooling for device configuration and remote administration.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including encrypted transport, protected administrative access, server-side authorization checks, row-level access restrictions where applicable, and ongoing security review and remediation.
We retain account, room, and device data for as long as needed to provide the service and maintain an active Voisee deployment. We may also retain limited operational records for security, audit, backup, and support purposes for a reasonable period.
If you would like data deleted, corrected, or exported, contact us. Some data may need to be retained temporarily to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or complete a support or security investigation.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information. We will review and respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law.
Voisee may be used in family care or senior care contexts, but it is not an emergency response service and should not be relied upon for urgent medical, safety, or monitoring situations.
If a deployment involves regulated health, educational, or institutional data, the deploying organization or administrator is responsible for determining whether additional agreements, disclosures, or safeguards are required before use.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
